Plugin: Reverb 2000

Description of effect:
A reverb with a lot of parameters. But also a lot of examples...

The walls in this reverb can be set to absorb the soundwaves in any way, both naturally and unnaturally (if you would like that). The walls can be made to imitate the most materials in existence.

Description of parameters:

Input gain: The amount of signal to feed the reverb.

Original / effect mix: Set this to 70 / 30 for normal use. This would give a signal of 70% original and 30% effect.

Reverb from selection: If you have made a selection, you may use that selection as a source of reverb for the rest of the waveform. If this is unchecked, you may have effect only inside the selection, otherwise it will spread outside.

Quality: Set this to 10 for normal use. You probably never have to go higher than that, if you do not have very much treble (in the waveform or in the walls reflection).

Size of room: The imaginative size of the room to reverberate from. Range 5-100m.

Stereo spread: If the waveform is in stereo, you may add a broadening effect. In this effect that is accomplished by simulating asymmetries in the room. You probably want this set to a 100 % at most times.

Use walls with... checkbox: Check this option to enable the "equalizer-looking" filter. This will enable you to set the properties of the walls in the room. Simply put: When a slider is set "high" it will reflect the frequencies of the band, and when the slider is set "low" the wall absorbs the frequencies of the band. Most often, walls tend to absorb high frequencies.

Reset: Resets the wall absorption filter to the most common.

Types checkboxes: Select a reverb type of your liking. You will just have to experiment to find your favorite.

Load / Save: You can save or load favorite reverbs to and from the database. This reverb has been accompanied with a lot of examples, if you find that it takes too long time to experiment.

Preview: Press the 'Preview' button to test the effect to see if it is tuned properly. It is quicker than applying the effect and making an undo...
